หลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชารังสีเทคนิค (Bachelor of Science Program in Radiological Technology)

The Bachelor of Science in Radiological Technology degree is designed to educate and train graduates for careers in radiological technology and health-related sciences. After two years of studies in basic science, students are offered a range of subjects in radiological technology, including radiography (anatomy, pathology, positioning), radiobiology, radiotherapy, medical imaging and nuclear medicine.

Objectives, Graduation Requirements

Program objectives
After completion, the graduates of this programme will be able to

1. Integrating theoretical and practical knowledge in medical radiation science and technology including radiation physics and instrumentation, radiation protection and safety, and digital image processing to conduct clinical practices.
2. Performing clinical practices in diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy according to national competencies and international standards in radiological technology including ASMIRT and EANM competencies.
3. Work in clinical practices with good communication, multidisciplinary teamwork skills, responsibility for self and group works, and professional ethics.
4. Possess critical thinking, problem solving, information technology skill, interpersonal skill, and leadership.

หลักสูดรวิทยาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาเทคนิคการแพทย์ (Bachelor of Science Program in Medical Technology)

The Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree is designed to educate and train graduates for careers in medical technology and health-related sciences with good attitude and professional ethics in order to work in clinical laboratory efficiently and also work in a health-team to improve quality of life of people and community. Following an initial program of studies in basic science, the students will specialize in a wide variety of medical technology and health-related sciences areas, including chemistry, bacteriology, immunology, mycology, virology, parasitology, hematology, clinical microscopy, transfusion medicine, molecular biology, computing, histology, pharmacology, and forensic medicine.

The MT program philosophy has been set based on a believe that “Learning that enables students to be responsible and engaged through a variety of learning processes, such as direct experience, analysis, research, learning through community, society and culture, will enable graduates to learn continuously, being conscious of the medical technical profession and sustainable development.

After completion, the graduates of B.Sc. Programme will be able to

1. Perform the clinical laboratory tests in the field of Medical Technology for supporting clinical diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control of diseases,
2. Imply knowledge and skill in Medical Technology for career study in medical technology and related sciences,
3. Apply knowledge and techniques in medical technology to science-technology and research works,
4. Organize and manage a clinical laboratory work efficiently and also effectively collaborate and communicate other related units,
5. Be a medical technologist with high moral and professional ethics. Besides the above objectives, the graduates of B.Sc. – M.Sc/Ph.D. distinction Programme will be able to be effective researchers for innovative research in the broad areas of medical and biological sciences.
