Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Apinya Siripitayakunkit, Instructor in the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing and Program Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science (International Program), participated in the international academic conference “The 29th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) 2026” at the University Cultural Centre, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, from February 26 to 28, 2026.
At the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Bualuang Sumdaengrit, Instructor in the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing and Program Secretary of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science (International Program), Ramathibodi School of Nursing, presented a research study entitled “THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND BREAST SELF-EXAM AMONG THAI UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS IN THE UNIVERSITY.” Associate Professor Dr. Manee Arpanantikul, Chair of the Curriculum Development Committee and Instructor in the Division of Fundamental Nursing, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, presented a research study entitled “CHALLENGES FOR MIDDLE-AGED WOMEN IN PRACTICING SELF-CARE: A DESCRIPTIVE QUALITATIVE STUDY.” They received a grant from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, to support their participation and presentation at the conference.
Participation in this conference aimed to promote faculty engagement on the international academic level, strengthen collaborative networks with scholars and researchers from across Asia and other regions, and foster the exchange of knowledge, research perspectives, and nursing practices. The knowledge gained will be further applied to develop teaching and learning management, advance research excellence, and sustainably elevate academic standards in nursing science at the international level.
